| Situated at the eastern point of Grande-Terre, facing the isle La Désirade and actually the main tourist center of guadeloupe, Saint-François has been only some 20 years ago a small village living from fishing and cane sugar plantations.
Today, it offers touristic infrastructures with its 18-hole golf course, a marina, many hotels and restaurants for everyones taste. Don't miss to visit the marina, the ancient fishermen's harbour, the market and the church in the city center.
